MMO Games To Get Mobile, Social Treatment From Good Game Productions
In some ways, popular social games like Mafia Wars and Sorority Life are already massively-multiplayer online (MMO) games—they’re played online, there are millions of people playing, and players need to work together to get ahead. But people hungry for high-quality, World of Warcraft-style games on their phones and social networks currently have limited options. Companies like ngmoco and Playdom are working to change that, and so is a new startup called Good Game Productions.

Taiwanese Man ‘Finishes’ World of WarCraft
The World of WarCraft features nearly a thousand achievements, and to this point, nobody has managed to collect them all. But one player has at least come very, very close (via Computer and Video Games).
A Taiwanese man has reportedly completed all 986 of the game’s achievements. He’s shown Azeroth’s critters how much he loves them (To All The Squirrels Who Shared My Life), equipped an epic item every available slot (Epic), and slain 15 turkeys in three minutes (Friend or Fowl?)

World of Warcraft turned five last week.
By way of comparison, heroin is 135, cocaine is 154 and we’ve been making alcoholic beverages for 9,000 years. I would put the debut of World of Warcraft on par with these events, comparable to when the first caveman fermented the first grape.
