I wanted to get the classic Onyxia achievement before Patch 3.2.2 hit so I popped in to visit Lady Prestor in all her dragoned glory. Afterall, the very first soloing of Onyxia (as far as I know) was a level 70 Enhancement Shaman.
As a well-geared level 80 OP Enhancement Shaman (L80OPES?) I must say this encounter was ridiculously easy. I spent most of the encounter running around wondering what I needed to do next. There was one dicey moment when my health was dropping rapidly only to realize I was standing in the deep breath, a problem quickly remedied by the age-old raid strategy known as “move out of the fire dumbass.” Tricky, that Onyxia, tricky. http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/BigHitBox/~3/NIKX3g4D8Qs/
I’m going to write bout the upcoming changes for Hunters in Cataclysm. First and at the forefront all Hunter changes will be the removal of our Hunter mana bar and the inclusion of a focus based system for all Hunters. This seems to be a somewhat small build; changes noticed so far are listed below. One thing you’ll noticed is that the “Purified” shards are now from 10-player Onyxia while the “Shiny” shards are from 25-player. http://www.worldofraids.com/news/835.html
The new World of Warcraft Faction Change service is now live. As we mentioned previously, we’ve been in the process of developing a new service for World of Warcraft that will allow players to change their faction from Alliance to Horde or Horde to Alliance for a fee. After purchasing a Faction Change for a character, a player can choose any race of the opposite faction that is compatible with the character’s class. I know all you horde out there were just dying to join the Alliance. Well now you can! Faction Transfers are now available. This service will come with fee of US $30.00 per character. To change your character’s faction go to the Faction Transfer page under Account Management.

Slaytanic pointed out to us yesterday that Atraira has released the first installment of the new movie titled Ulduar: Defiance. The video is an interesting, cinematic look at the boss fights in Ulduar. Atraira, of course, is the machinimator who created the WoW video for Lonely Island’s Boombox.
